The KIKUSUI PLZ-U Series is a compact modular electronic load platform for configurable multi-channel DC testing. PLZ-30F and PLZ-50F frames accommodate up to three or five load modules, respectively.

Choose the 75 W PLZ70UA for operation down to 0 V or the 150 W PLZ150U for higher load capacity, with independent, synchronized, or parallel module operation.

Modular Multi-Channel Electronic Load for Flexible DC Testing

The KIKUSUI PLZ-U Series is a modular multifunction DC electronic load platform that combines configurable plug-in load modules with three-channel or five-channel frames for compact multi-device and multi-output testing.

The PLZ-30F accepts up to three load modules, while the PLZ-50F accepts up to five. Two module types are available: the PLZ70UA provides 75 W / 15 A loading with operation down to 0 V, and the PLZ150U provides 150 W / 30 A loading from 1.5 V to 150 V.

Channels can operate independently or synchronously, while adjacent modules of the same model can be paralleled to increase current and power capacity. Built-in switching, sequence, measurement, memory, timer, and remote-control functions support automated characterization of power supplies, converters, batteries, fuel cells, and other DC devices.

Configurable 3- or 5-Channel Architecture

The PLZ-30F supports up to three plug-in load modules, while the PLZ-50F supports up to five, allowing the system to be configured for individual or multi-output DUT testing.

Five Electronic Load Modes

Supports constant current (CC), constant resistance (CR), constant voltage (CV), CC+CV, and CR+CV modes for flexible DC device characterization.

Low-Voltage Operation Down to 0 V

The PLZ70UA can operate from 0 V input, supporting testing of single-cell fuel cells and other very-low-voltage DC sources.

Dynamic Load Testing

Variable slew-rate control and switching operation in CC and CR modes support transient-response testing, with switching frequencies from 1 Hz to 20 kHz.

Built-In Sequence Operation

Sequence programs can execute stored CC or CR load steps with programmable execution time, repetition, and independent programs for each channel.

Independent, Synchronized, or Parallel Channels

Channels can run independently, execute synchronized operations, or combine same-model adjacent modules in parallel for increased current and power capacity.
