Single-Phase Harmonic and Flicker Compliance Testing

The KIKUSUI KHA1000 is a harmonic and flicker analyzer dedicated to single-phase, two-wire electrical equipment, combining standards-based harmonic-current and voltage-fluctuation testing with general power and waveform measurement functions.

The analyzer provides one voltage and one current measurement channel, voltage ranges of 150 V and 300 V, and six current ranges from 0.5 A to 20 A. It is designed primarily for harmonic-current and flicker compliance testing of single-phase equipment within the applicable 16 A standards range.

Beyond formal compliance testing, the KHA1000 measures voltage, current, active power, apparent power, reactive power, power factor, frequency, and phase while also providing waveform monitoring, FFT analysis, and inrush-current capture. GPIB, RS232C, and USB interfaces are standard for automated measurement environments.

Dedicated Single-Phase Compliance Testing

The KHA1000 is designed specifically for single-phase, two-wire equipment, providing a focused platform for IEC 61000-3-2 harmonic-current and IEC 61000-3-3 flicker and voltage-fluctuation testing.

Harmonic Analysis up to the 180th Order

Harmonic analysis extends through the 40th order in standards-oriented HA mode and through the 180th order in OTHER mode for broader development and diagnostic measurements.

Interharmonic Measurement Support

Selectable processing supports IEC 61000-4-7 measurement methods with interharmonic processing enabled or disabled according to the selected measurement-standard configuration.

Flicker and Voltage-Fluctuation Analysis

Built-in flicker analysis measures Pst and voltage-fluctuation parameters, with selectable simultaneous or independent voltage-fluctuation measurement and support for manually switched equipment.

FFT and Inrush-Current Measurement

Waveform monitoring and FFT analysis support development work, while direct inrush-current measurement captures peaks up to 80 Apeak for up to 20 ms without requiring a separate oscilloscope for basic inrush evaluation.

Standalone Test and Report Workflow

Test conditions, execution, standards-based pass/fail judgment, spectrum review, and result-report generation can be performed directly from the KHA1000 without a PC for normal compliance-test workflows.
