Three-Phase Harmonic and Flicker Compliance Testing up to 40 A per Phase

The KIKUSUI KHA3000 is a high-current harmonic and flicker analyzer designed for simultaneous three-phase and single-phase testing of electrical and electronic equipment against applicable IEC, EN, and JIS harmonic-current and voltage-fluctuation requirements.

Three voltage and three current measurement channels support single-phase 2-wire, single-phase 3-wire, three-phase 3-wire, and three-phase 4-wire systems. Direct current measurement is available up to 40 Arms per phase, making the KHA3000 suitable for equipment above the 16 A range as well as lower-current products.

In addition to standards-based harmonic and flicker testing, the KHA3000 provides voltage, current, power, power factor, apparent power, reactive power, frequency and phase measurement, waveform monitoring, FFT analysis, and inrush-current measurement. GPIB, RS232C, and USB interfaces are standard for integration with automated measurement systems.

Simultaneous Three-Phase Measurement

Three voltage and three current channels measure L1, L2, and L3 simultaneously. For long-term three-phase flicker evaluation, simultaneous measurement can substantially reduce total test time compared with measuring each phase separately.

Up to 40 A per Phase Direct Measurement

Seven current ranges from 0.5 A to 40 A support direct measurement of equipment requiring higher phase current. Measurement above 40 A per phase can be configured using supported external current sensors.

Harmonics and Interharmonics Analysis

Supports harmonic-current analysis through the 40th order in compliance-test mode and through the 180th order in general analysis mode, with selectable interharmonic processing according to the applicable IEC 61000-4-7 measurement method.

Flicker and Voltage-Fluctuation Testing

Measures short-term flicker and voltage-fluctuation parameters with real-time waveform and result displays for applicable IEC 61000-3-3 and IEC 61000-3-11 testing.

FFT and Inrush-Current Measurement

Built-in FFT analysis, V/I waveform monitoring, and inrush-current measurement support development and troubleshooting in addition to formal compliance testing. Direct inrush-current measurement reaches 160 Apeak for up to 20 ms.

Standalone Compliance Testing and Reports

Test setup, execution, limit judgment, spectrum review, and result-report generation can be performed directly on the KHA3000. Reports are available in PDF and text formats without requiring a PC for normal test operation.
