High-Capacity CV/CC DC Power for Industrial and High-Voltage Testing

The KIKUSUI PAT-T Series is a high-capacity switching DC power supply designed for constant-voltage and constant-current testing where substantial DC power, high current, or high output voltage is required.

Current PAT-T models provide 4 kW or 8 kW of rated output power, with voltage ratings ranging from 20 V to 850 V and current ratings up to 400 A per unit. This broad model selection supports applications ranging from high-current automotive electronics and motors to power semiconductors, DC-DC converters, inverters, and high-voltage component evaluation.

The PAT-T uses a soft-switching topology for reduced output noise and high efficiency and incorporates a power factor correction circuit with a typical power factor of 0.95. RS232C is standard, while LAN, USB, and GPIB are available as factory-installed interface options for automated test and system integration.

Current PAT-T models provide either 4 kW or 8 kW of rated DC output, supporting demanding component, automotive, power-electronics, and industrial test systems.

High-Voltage Models up to 850 V

The current lineup extends from low-voltage, high-current models to 250 V, 350 V, 500 V, 650 V, and 850 V models for higher-voltage DC evaluation.

Soft-Switching CV/CC Architecture

Constant-voltage and constant-current automatic crossover operation is combined with a soft-switching power stage designed for high efficiency and reduced output noise.

Power Factor Correction

An integrated power factor correction circuit provides a typical power factor of 0.95 at rated operating conditions, helping reduce input-current and power-distribution requirements.

Remote and Analog Control

RS232C is standard, with LAN, USB, and GPIB available as factory options. External voltage and resistance programming supports integration into automated and specialized test systems.

System Expansion Capability

Supported PAT-T configurations allow same-model series or parallel connection for increased voltage, current, or system power, subject to model-specific connection limits.
