Compact 2U Design
All PAV models use a compact chassis approximately 2U high, providing
high power density for bench-top use while maintaining a common form
factor across the series.Extensive Model Selection
Four output classes and eight voltage classes provide 32 base model
combinations, covering outputs from 10 V to 650 V and currents up
to 72 A depending on the selected model.CV / CC Regulation
The PAV Series operates as a constant-voltage and constant-current
regulated DC power supply for controlled DC device and component testing.Built-In Hardware Sequence
An embedded CPU provides hardware sequence capability with up to
12 steps for programmable CV/CC output profiles.Wavy Software Support
Optional Wavy for PAV software supports software sequences with up to
1024 steps for more complex automated voltage and current profiles.Standard Digital Interfaces
USB, RS232C, and RS485 are integrated as standard. RS485-based
configurations can support control of multiple PAV power supplies.Optional LAN Models
LAN-equipped versions are available as factory-option configurations
for applications requiring network-based communication.Analog Programming and Monitoring
Output voltage and current can be controlled using external voltage
or resistance, with voltage/current monitoring and CV/CC status outputs
available through the analog-control interface.Master-Slave Parallel Operation
Up to six PAV units of the same rating can be connected in parallel
to increase available output current.Series Operation
Two PAV units of the same rating can be connected in series to increase
output voltage, subject to the specified system-voltage limits.Synchronized Multi-Unit Operation
Trigger input and output connections allow synchronized operation across
multiple PAV units for coordinated test-system control.Protection Functions
Protection functions include overvoltage protection, undervoltage
protection and limit functions, overtemperature protection, and
configurable foldback protection.
