Ultra-Low-Inductance Coil Testing for High-Speed Inspection

The ECG KOKUSAI DWX-300LI3a and DWX-01LI3a are impulse winding testers designed for high-speed inspection and detailed evaluation of ultra-low-inductance coils and power-inductor components.

The two models use a 4-terminal test circuit and two inductance ranges to support testing from 0.01 µH to 100 µH. High-speed waveform acquisition and fine voltage-setting resolution support detailed evaluation of short response waveforms in low-inductance components.

0.01 µH to 100 µH Two-range inductance coverage
Maximum 300 MHz 3.3 ns/sample waveform acquisition
10 ms Fastest high-speed test without judgment
300 V / 1,000 V Model-specific test voltage for 1 µH or higher

The tester supports waveform-area, difference-area, peak-voltage stability, Laplacian, and attenuation-rate judgment together with contact checking. Up to 16 test pulses can be configured after the PreCheck pulse.

High-speed mode supports inspection-handler timing, while extended RS-232C and external I/O provide control for automated inspection workflows. The tester stores up to 196 master waveforms.

Ultra-Low-Inductance Testing

Two inductance ranges cover 0.01 µH to 1 µH and 1 µH to 100 µH for testing ultra-low-inductance coils and power-inductor components.

Maximum 300 MHz Waveform Sampling

Waveform sampling up to 300 MHz with 3.3 ns/sample resolution enables detailed acquisition of fast response waveforms.

High-Speed 10 ms Testing

In high-speed mode, the shortest test time is 10 ms without judgment and 18 ms with judgment using one pulse without screen display.

4-Terminal Test Circuit

A 4-terminal test circuit supports high-voltage impulse testing of ultra-low-inductance coils while reducing the influence of the test connection.

Fine Voltage Setting

The DWX-300LI3a provides 0.1 V setting steps, while the DWX-01LI3a provides 0.3 V setting steps.

Multiple Judgment Functions

Supports Waveform Area, Waveform Difference Area, Peak Voltage Stability, Laplacian, attenuation-rate judgment, and contact checking.

196 Master Waveforms

Stores up to 196 master waveforms for product-specific test and judgment conditions.

Production-Line Integration

Extended RS-232C and external I/O support external control, with high-speed interface timing for inspection handlers.
