15 kV Impulse Winding Testing for High-Voltage Coil Evaluation

The ECG KOKUSAI DWX-15 and DWX-15PD extend the DWX impulse winding tester platform to applications requiring test voltages up to 15 kV.

Both models compare the transient response of a test winding with a stored master waveform to evaluate winding condition and insulation-related differences. The DWX-15PD adds microwave-based partial discharge detection for applications requiring additional discharge evaluation.

Up to 15 kV Impulse Testing

Provides an applied-voltage range from 1,000 V to 15,000 V in 200 V steps for high-voltage winding evaluation.

8-bit sampling at 10 ns intervals provides a 100 MHz sampling rate for capturing impulse-response waveforms.

8,192-Byte Sampling Memory

High-density waveform acquisition supports detailed comparison between stored master and test waveforms.

The DWX-15PD adds a narrow-band microwave antenna for detecting electromagnetic activity associated with partial discharge.
