AC Partial Discharge Testing with Microwave Detection

The ECG KOKUSAI ACPD-05X is an AC partial discharge tester designed for insulation evaluation of motors, transformers, coils, and other wound components.

The ACPD-05X uses a microwave patch antenna to directly detect electromagnetic waves generated by partial discharge. Because the antenna is positioned near the test coil, partial-discharge activity can be evaluated without relying solely on signals through the test circuit.

Parallel I/O, RS-232C, and USB interfaces support test control and test-data input and output, helping integrate partial-discharge evaluation into inspection workflows.

Supports 50 Hz and 60 Hz operation, with test frequency configurable from 50 to 200 Hz in 1 Hz steps.

Leakage-Current Detection

Supports leakage-current cutoff settings from 1 to 25 mA in 1 mA steps or 100 mA.

External Control Interfaces
