High-Resolution Impulse Winding and Partial Discharge Evaluation

The ECG KOKUSAI DWIT-05PD combines high-resolution impulse winding testing with partial-discharge evaluation capabilities for detailed inspection of coils and wound components.

The DWIT platform applies an impulse voltage to a reference winding and the winding under test, then compares the resulting transient waveforms to evaluate winding characteristics and insulation-related abnormalities.

Waveform acquisition supports up to 16,384 sampling points. Judgment functions include Area, Differential Area, Flutter, Laplacian, peak-voltage stability, resonant-frequency, and logarithmic-decrement evaluation.

Partial-discharge evaluation can be supported using the manufacturer-listed PD detection circuit and microwave patch antenna. The system also provides database-based test management, a 10.1-inch WXGA touch display, Ethernet, RS-232C, USB, and external control interfaces.

High-resolution 12-bit ADC circuitry with sampling up to 300 MHz captures detailed impulse-response waveforms.

Up to 16,384 Sampling Points

Selectable sampling data up to 16,384 points supports detailed waveform inspection and post-test waveform enlargement.

Partial Discharge Detection Capability

The manufacturer-listed PD detection circuit uses a microwave patch antenna to detect electromagnetic-wave activity associated with partial discharge.

BDV / PDIV Test Mode

The tester includes BDV (PDIV) test functionality for voltage-based insulation and discharge evaluation.

Advanced Waveform Judgment

Supports Area, Differential Area, Flutter, Laplacian, peak-voltage stability, resonant-frequency, and logarithmic-decrement evaluation.

Database-Based Test Management

Stores master waveforms, judgment conditions, test results, waveform data, and screenshots for test-history management and analysis.

10.1-Inch WXGA Touch Display

A 10.1-inch 1280 × 800 color TFT touch display provides detailed waveform visualization and operator control.

Flexible Production Connectivity
