Multi-Output DC Power for Multi-Rail Circuit and Device Testing

The KIKUSUI PMX-Multi Series combines 2, 3, or 4 independently isolated DC output channels in a compact programmable power supply for electronic circuit development, semiconductor evaluation, and production test systems.

Three configurations are available: the 2-channel PMX32-3DU, 3-channel PMX32-3TR, and 4-channel PMX32-2QU. All channels can operate simultaneously, while tracking control allows voltage or current settings across selected channels to be adjusted together.
2, 3, or 4 Outputs Three configurations support test setups requiring multiple DC supply rails.
Isolated Channels Each output is isolated, with ±70 Vdc channel-to-channel isolation voltage.
Tracking Control Coordinate voltage or current changes across selected output channels.
LAN / USB / RS232C Standard interfaces support remote control and automated test integration.
CH1 and CH2 can also be configured for series or parallel operation, providing up to 64 V in series or increased current in parallel. Output-on and output-off delay control, remote sensing, preset memory, external output control, and built-in voltage/current displays support both bench testing and automated production environments.

2, 3, or 4 Isolated Outputs

Choose from 2-channel, 3-channel, and 4-channel configurations. Each output is isolated and all channels can operate simultaneously, supporting devices and circuits that require multiple DC supply rails.

All-Channel Tracking Control

Tracking is available across all channels. Output voltage or current can be coordinated using either absolute-value changes or proportional percentage changes relative to a selected reference channel.

CH1 / CH2 Series and Parallel Operation

Channels 1 and 2 can be configured in series to increase output voltage or in parallel to increase available current, with CH2 operating as the master and CH1 as the slave.

High-Resolution Output Setting

Voltage can be programmed with 1 mV setting resolution and current with 0.1 mA setting resolution for precise multi-channel DC control.

Per-Channel Output Timing

Output-on and output-off delay can be configured for each channel from 0.0 to 99.9 seconds, supporting controlled power-up and power-down timing for multi-supply devices.

Built-In Voltage and Current Display

Integrated voltmeter and ammeter functions provide direct monitoring of output conditions, while the front-panel display shows operating status across the channels.

Standard LAN, USB, and RS232C

Standard digital interfaces support SCPI-based remote control and system integration. The LAN interface supports LXI, VXI-11, HiSLIP, SCPI-RAW, and SCPI-Telnet communication.

Protection and Remote Functions

OVP, OCP, and overheat protection are combined with remote sensing, external output on/off control, key lock, and three preset-memory locations for repeatable laboratory and production operation.

All channels are independent. Channel-to-channel and output-to-chassis isolation voltage is ±70 Vdc. Series and parallel operation applies specifically to CH1 and CH2.

Isolated Multi-Channel Control and Power-Up Timing

Each PMX-Multi output channel is electrically independent, allowing multiple supply rails to be configured and controlled from a single compact DC power supply.

All channels support tracking control. Two tracking modes allow selected voltage or current outputs to change together either by the same absolute amount or by the same percentage relative to their initial settings.

±70 Vdc Isolation Specified between channels and between each output and chassis.
All-Channel Tracking Coordinate multiple supply rails using absolute or percentage-based adjustment.
0.0–99.9 s Delay Configure output-on and output-off timing for controlled rail sequencing.
CH1 / CH2 Combine Use series connection for higher voltage or parallel connection for higher current.

The PMX-Multi does not use a general-purpose waveform or multi-step sequence engine. Instead, coordinated multi-rail operation is handled through channel tracking, output-on/off delay settings, external control, and programmable remote control through LAN, USB, or RS232C.
