Compact Low-Noise DC Power for Bench and System Testing

The KIKUSUI PMX-E Series combines linear series-dropper regulation with programmable constant-voltage and constant-current operation for laboratory, benchtop, and remotely controlled DC power applications.

Nine models cover rated outputs from 18 V to 500 V, 0.1 A to 5 A, and 35 W to 105 W. The series is designed around low-noise DC output while integrating LAN, USB, and RS232C communications, analog external control, output monitoring, and protection functions.

All PMX-E models provide front-facing output terminals for benchtop wiring. The 18 V and 35 V models additionally include remote sensing to compensate for voltage drop in load wiring.

Linear CV / CC Regulation

The PMX-E Series uses a series-dropper architecture to provide constant-voltage and constant-current operation with low ripple and noise.

Built-In Memory Sequencing

Combine up to three stored waveforms for continuous output sequencing without requiring a connected PC.

Output Off Timer

Output can be turned off according to upper or lower voltage limits, upper or lower current limits, or a configured time condition.

Output ON / OFF Delay

Programmable delays can be applied between an OUTPUT command and the actual output-on or output-off operation for load timing control.

Soft Start and Soft Stop

Configurable soft-start and soft-stop functionality supports controlled output transitions for connected loads.

LAN, USB, and RS232C

Standard communication interfaces simplify remote control and automated system integration. LAN communication also supports browser-based control and monitoring.

Analog External Control and Monitoring

Analog external-control and output-monitor functions provide additional integration options beyond the standard digital interfaces.

Protection and Communication Monitoring

Multiple protection functions are combined with watchdog and external-control monitoring features to support controlled system operation.

Built-In Sequence and System Control

PMX-E adds stand-alone timing and memory functions while retaining the low-noise behavior of a linear laboratory DC supply.

Built-in memory sequencing allows up to three stored waveforms to be combined and executed without a PC. Output off timer, output-on/off delay, soft-start, and soft-stop functions provide additional control over how power is applied to and removed from a connected load.
