Laboratory Functional Testing for C-V2X PC5 Communications
The Anritsu MX725000A provides a graphical test environment for evaluating LTE-based C-V2X PC5 communications under repeatable vehicle and traffic conditions without requiring a complete field-driving test for every functional scenario.
MX725000A operates as part of a software-based V2X test environment. A C-V2X communications reference module exchanges PC5 signals with the device under test, while a GNSS simulator supplies vehicle-position information and V2X emulator software reproduces roads, vehicles, speeds, and traffic conditions. The result is a laboratory environment for evaluating V2V and V2I behavior using realistic traffic scenarios.
The MX725000A approach is intended for functional and application-level evaluation rather than RF transmitter and receiver characterization. It can reproduce conditions such as collision warnings, emergency vehicle approaches, blind spots, traffic-signal interactions, and other ITS scenarios while recording the test process and DUT behavior for analysis.
