Anritsu Site Master for RF Cable, Antenna, and Field Measurements

The Anritsu Site Master MS2085A and MS2089A combine field-ready cable and antenna analysis with fast sweep performance, high-resolution measurements, and optional vector network analysis for RF installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Both models provide cable and antenna analyzer coverage from 5 kHz to either 4 GHz or 6 GHz. Core measurements include Return Loss, VSWR, Cable Loss, Distance-to-Fault (DTF), 1-Port Phase, and Smith Chart. The MS2089A extends the platform with an integrated spectrum analyzer covering 9 kHz to 4 GHz or 6 GHz.

Choose the MS2085A when the primary requirement is cable and antenna analysis. Choose the MS2089A when field work also requires spectrum analysis. Optional 2-port transmission and VNA capabilities can be added to either model for more detailed RF component, cable, and transmission measurements.

4 GHz or 6 GHz Cable and Antenna Analysis

Configure the Site Master for cable and antenna measurements from 5 kHz to 4 GHz or from 5 kHz to 6 GHz, supporting a broad range of RF installation and maintenance requirements.

Essential RF Line Measurements

Measure Return Loss, VSWR, Cable Loss, Distance-to-Fault, 1-Port Phase, and Smith Chart parameters for cable, connector, antenna, and transmission-line evaluation.

Fast, High-Resolution Sweeps

Fast CAA sweep mode provides typical Return Loss and DTF sweep speeds below 350 µs per data point, with up to 10,049 user-defined CAA data points for detailed measurements.

Integrated Spectrum Analyzer — MS2089A

The MS2089A adds spectrum analysis from 9 kHz to 4 GHz or 6 GHz for spectrum monitoring, RF signal measurements, and field interference analysis. The MS2085A does not include a spectrum analyzer.

Optional 2-Port Vector Network Analyzer

VNA Options 904 and 906 provide 2-port, 1-path vector network analysis from 5 kHz to 4 GHz or 6 GHz. VNA operation requires the 2-port Transmission Measurement Option 21.
