High-Performance Spectrum Analysis for Field RF Measurements

The Anritsu Field Master Pro MS2090A combines high-performance spectrum analysis with a rugged handheld platform for RF and microwave measurements from 9 kHz to as high as 54 GHz.

Multiple frequency configurations are available with upper limits of 9 GHz, 14 GHz, 20 GHz, 26.5 GHz, 32 GHz, 43.5 GHz, or 54 GHz. The analyzer provides a displayed average noise level (DANL) of -164 dBm with the preamplifier and a typical third-order intercept (TOI) of +20 dBm, supporting sensitive measurements while maintaining strong signal-handling performance.

Optional real-time spectrum analysis provides RTSA bandwidths from 22 MHz to 150 MHz with a 2.05 µs probability of intercept capability, helping engineers identify short-duration and intermittent RF events. The MS2090A supports field applications including interference hunting, spectrum clearing, 5G and LTE measurements, microwave radio links, satellite monitoring, radar analysis, and aerospace and defense systems.

Select from frequency configurations extending from 9 kHz to 9 GHz, 14 GHz, 20 GHz, 26.5 GHz, 32 GHz, 43.5 GHz, or 54 GHz for RF, microwave, and millimeter-wave field measurements.

High RF Performance

A -164 dBm displayed average noise level with the preamplifier and +20 dBm typical TOI provide the sensitivity and dynamic performance required for interference, distortion, and spectrum measurements.

Fast Swept Spectrum Analysis

Full-span sweep speeds up to 40 GHz per second help engineers evaluate wide frequency ranges efficiently during field troubleshooting and spectrum-clearing work.

Optional Real-Time Spectrum Analysis

Option 199 adds real-time spectrum analysis with RTSA bandwidths of 22 MHz, 55 MHz, 120 MHz, or 150 MHz depending on the installed bandwidth options.

Capture Intermittent RF Signals

RTSA operation provides a 2.05 µs probability of intercept capability, helping reveal short-duration and intermittent signals that can be difficult to identify with conventional swept measurements.

Wideband Signal Analysis

Analysis bandwidth up to 150 MHz supports wideband wireless and modulation measurements, including optional 5G NR and LTE measurement applications.

IQ Capture and Streaming

Optional IQ waveform capture and streaming functions support recording signal data for detailed analysis and offline processing.
