Portable 400G Network Testing for Installation and Maintenance

The Anritsu Network Master Pro MT1040A combines 400G Ethernet testing with multi-protocol transport and optical-fiber test capabilities in a portable, modular field platform.

Designed for network installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting, the MT1040A supports Ethernet rates from 10M through 400G while extending field test coverage to OTN, SDH/SONET, eCPRI/RoE, CPRI/OBSAI, and Fibre Channel. Its modular architecture allows the instrument to be configured around the interfaces and protocols required for each network environment.

10M to 400G Ethernet Support for legacy, 10G, 25G, 40G, 100G, 200G, and 400G Ethernet test applications.
400G FEC Analysis Built-in Forward Error Correction analysis supports evaluation of high-speed 400G Ethernet links and optical transceivers.
Multi-Protocol Transport Testing Configure the platform for OTN, SDH/SONET, Fibre Channel, CPRI/OBSAI, and Ethernet-based eCPRI/RoE testing.
Integrated Optical Testing Add an OTDR module to combine transport-network testing with optical-fiber continuity and fault-location workflows.

QSFP-DD and OSFP 400G transport modules are available for different interface requirements. For higher-density applications, an optional dual-module configuration supports dual-port 400G Ethernet testing using two QSFP-DD transport modules.

Ethernet Testing from 10M to 400G

Supports field testing across multiple Ethernet generations, including 10M/100M/1000M, 10G, 25G, 40G, 100G, 200G, and 400G depending on the installed transport module and protocol options.

400G FEC Analysis

Built-in FEC analysis supports quantitative evaluation of 400G Ethernet links, optical transceivers, and network equipment where Forward Error Correction performance is critical.

OTN and Legacy Transport Testing

Configurable OTN test functions support rates through 100G, while additional options provide SDH/SONET testing for mixed modern and legacy transport-network environments.

Mobile Fronthaul and Backhaul

Supports Ethernet-based eCPRI/RoE as well as CPRI/OBSAI test applications, allowing one field platform to address multiple generations of mobile transport infrastructure.

SyncE and IEEE 1588 v2

Applicable Ethernet and eCPRI/RoE configurations support SyncE and IEEE 1588 v2 timing functions for synchronization-sensitive network testing.

Optional OTDR Integration

Compatible OTDR modules add optical-fiber continuity, event analysis, and fault-location capabilities without requiring a separate field test platform.

Flexible QSFP-DD and OSFP Architecture

Select the MU104014B QSFP-DD or MU104015A OSFP 400G transport module to match the optical interface and port requirements of the network under test.
