Rotation Direction and Magnetic Field Inspection for Stator Coils

The ECG KOKUSAI RDT-308 is a rotation direction tester for evaluating CW/CCW direction, magnetic field distribution, winding abnormalities, and connection conditions in stator coils.

The tester applies three-phase or single-phase excitation current to the stator coil and uses a detector positioned inside the stator to measure the magnetic flux generated by the winding.

CW / CCW Rotation direction evaluation
2 Test Modes Rotation direction and magnetic field distribution
Up to 16 Poles Multi-pole stator coil support
Auto Sensitivity Automatic adjustment for optimum detection

Test Mode 1 combines multiple detected magnetic-flux waveforms into phase A and phase B signals and determines overall rotation direction and field intensity from their phase difference and amplitude.

Test Mode 2 evaluates the individual magnetic-flux distribution detected by multiple sensor coils. This allows localized disturbances to be detected even when the overall rotation direction appears normal, helping identify winding and connection abnormalities.

CW / CCW Rotation Direction Testing

Determines the overall direction of rotation from the phase difference and amplitude of detected magnetic-flux waveforms.

Magnetic Field Distribution Testing

Evaluates phase difference and magnetic field strength across multiple detector coils to identify localized magnetic-flux abnormalities.

Up to 16-Pole Stator Coil Support

Supports stator coils with up to 16 poles, including 2-, 4-, 6-, 8-, 12-, and 16-pole configurations when the appropriate detector is used.

Automatic Pole Detection

Automatic pole-number detection supports efficient setup when testing compatible stator coil configurations.

Automatic Sensitivity Adjustment

Automatically adjusts detection sensitivity to support stable magnetic-flux measurement for the connected stator coil.

5 kHz Excitation

Provides three-phase or two-phase sine-wave excitation at 5 kHz with a phase setting range of 5 Vp-p.

Overcurrent Protection

Built-in overcurrent protection helps protect the tester during stator coil excitation.

External Communication

SIGNAL I/O and RS-232C support settings, result-data transmission, and integration with external automation equipment.

Detector selection is application-specific. RDT-308 detectors are selected according to the stator coil pole count and physical dimensions.
