Rotation Direction and Magnetic Field Inspection for Stator Coils
The ECG KOKUSAI RDT-308 is a rotation direction tester for evaluating CW/CCW direction, magnetic field distribution, winding abnormalities, and connection conditions in stator coils.
The tester applies three-phase or single-phase excitation current to the stator coil and uses a detector positioned inside the stator to measure the magnetic flux generated by the winding.
Test Mode 1 combines multiple detected magnetic-flux waveforms into phase A and phase B signals and determines overall rotation direction and field intensity from their phase difference and amplitude.
Test Mode 2 evaluates the individual magnetic-flux distribution detected by multiple sensor coils. This allows localized disturbances to be detected even when the overall rotation direction appears normal, helping identify winding and connection abnormalities.
