SVP-01-UVC Parallel Video Monitoring & Capture Board

The NetVision SVP-01-UVC is a parallel video monitoring and capture board for displaying, recording, and evaluating camera-module and image-sensor signals.

Parallel video signals can be captured to a Windows or Linux PC through USB 3.0 UVC or displayed directly through DisplayPort 1.1a. The output mode is selectable between USB and DisplayPort depending on the development and evaluation environment.

The SVP-01-UVC supports 8-, 16-, 24-, and 32-bit parallel video input together with YUV422, RGB24, and RAW pixel formats. I2C, GPIO, variable target-side voltage outputs, test-pattern generation, and image clipping provide additional flexibility for camera and sensor development.

Compatible NetVision deserializer boards can be connected directly to the SVP-01-UVC, enabling evaluation of automotive cameras using interfaces such as FPD-Link III, GMSL, and GVIF2.

Parallel Video Monitoring

Captures parallel camera and image-sensor signals with configurable 8-, 16-, 24-, or 32-bit input for development, debugging, and validation.

USB 3.0 UVC Capture

Operates as a UVC-compatible capture device on Windows and Linux, allowing use with NetVision NVCap or compatible third-party UVC software.

DisplayPort Monitoring

Provides DisplayPort 1.1a output for direct video monitoring, including standard 720p/60 fps and 1080p/60 or 30 fps configurations.

High-Speed Parallel Input

Supports parallel pixel clocks up to approximately 150 MHz for high-speed camera-module and CMOS image-sensor evaluation.

Flexible Synchronization Signals

Supports VSYNC, HSYNC, and Pixel Clock together with Embedded Sync (BT.656) and Data Enable configurations.

YUV, RGB & RAW Formats

Supports YUV422 8-bit, RGB24, and RAW video formats for a range of camera, image-sensor, and image-processing applications.

Variable I/O Voltage

Provides configurable VDDL from 1.8 to 3.3 V and VDDH from 1.2 to 3.6 V for interfacing with different sensors and connection boards.

I2C & GPIO Control

Includes I2C operation at 100, 200, or 400 kHz and up to 16-bit GPIO for sensor, SerDes, and peripheral control.

Automotive SerDes Integration

Supports compatible NetVision deserializer boards for FPD-Link III, GMSL, GVIF2, and other automotive camera-interface environments.

Test Pattern & Image Clipping

Includes test-pattern output and configurable image clipping, together with automatic I2C initialization from onboard ROM.
