The NetVision SerDes Interface Board is an option board for the NetVision SV Series designed for automotive camera, ADAS, and ECU development. It supports major automotive SerDes interfaces including FPD-Link III, GMSL, GMSL2, GMSL2/3, GVIF2, A-PHY, and ASA.
When combined with NetVision SV Series monitoring or generator boards, the SerDes Interface Board enables conversion between automotive SerDes video signals and MIPI or parallel video interfaces. This allows engineers to monitor and capture camera signals, develop and debug ECUs, evaluate SerDes devices, and simulate automotive cameras.
Multiple serializer and deserializer configurations are available for SerDes ICs from manufacturers including Texas Instruments, Analog Devices, Sony, Valens, and others. Connector configurations such as FAKRA, HSD, and MX are available depending on the selected board and application.
SerDes Interface Boards are typically configured according to the required SerDes IC and system architecture. Denkei Americas can help identify the appropriate NetVision SerDes Interface Board and compatible SV Series board based on your camera, ECU, SerDes IC, connector, and signal direction requirements.
How the SerDes Interface Board Works
A typical monitoring configuration converts an automotive camera SerDes signal into a video interface that can be processed by a NetVision SV Series monitoring board.
Automotive Camera → SerDes → NetVision SerDes Interface Board → MIPI / Parallel → NetVision SV Series → PC / Display
PC / Video Source → NetVision SV Series Generator → MIPI / Parallel → SerDes Interface Board → ECU
