SVM-06 MIPI CSI-2 HDMI Monitoring & Capture Board

The NetVision SVM-06 is a MIPI CSI-2 monitoring and capture board for real-time evaluation of camera modules, CMOS image sensors, and automotive video systems.

MIPI CSI-2 video can be displayed directly through HDMI while simultaneously being captured to a PC through USB 3.0 UVC. This allows engineers to visually monitor camera output and record the same video stream for development, debugging, and validation.

1.5 Gbps / Lane MIPI CSI-2 input using up to four standard data lanes
HDMI + USB 3.0 Simultaneous display and PC video capture
4K HDMI Output Supports HDMI output up to 3840 × 2160 at 30 fps
Automotive SerDes Compatible with NetVision high-bandwidth deserializer boards

The SVM-06 supports multiple MIPI CSI-2 Virtual Channels, Embedded Line data, image clipping, test-pattern output, I2C control, GPIO, and synchronization functions for advanced camera-development environments.

It can also support simultaneous acquisition from two image sensors and synchronized capture using multiple SVM-06 boards for multi-camera and around-view development.

High-Speed MIPI CSI-2 Input

Supports MIPI D-PHY CSI-2 input using one to four standard data lanes with configurable data rates from 20 to 1500 Mbps per lane.

Simultaneous HDMI & USB 3.0 Output

Displays incoming MIPI camera video on an HDMI monitor while simultaneously capturing the same signal to a PC through USB 3.0 UVC.

4K HDMI Monitoring

Supports HDMI 1.4 output at standard resolutions up to 3840 × 2160 at 30 fps for direct real-time camera and sensor monitoring.

USB Video Class Capture

Operates as a UVC device for USB 3.0 video capture, with effective in-frame video data rates up to 3.0 Gbps.

RAW & Multi-Format Support

Supports YUV422 8-bit, RGB24, RAW8, RAW10, RAW12, RAW16, and RAW20 for camera-module and CMOS image-sensor evaluation.

Virtual Channel & Embedded Data

Supports multiple MIPI CSI-2 Virtual Channels and Embedded Line data for advanced camera and multi-stream development.

Multi-Camera Synchronization

Supports simultaneous acquisition from multiple sensors and synchronized capture configurations using multiple SVM-06 boards.

I2C & GPIO Control

Provides one I2C channel and 16-bit GPIO with individually configurable input and output direction for sensor and peripheral control.

Continuous & Non-Continuous Clock

Supports both Continuous Clock and Non-Continuous Clock MIPI CSI-2 operation for compatibility with different camera and sensor designs.

Automotive Deserializer Integration

Can be combined with compatible NetVision automotive deserializer boards for high-bandwidth in-vehicle camera and SerDes evaluation.
