The KIKUSUI PWR1201ML is a compact programmable DC power supply delivering up to 1200 W with rated output of 80 V and 60 A for flexible CV/CC power delivery across a wide operating range.

The PWR1201ML combines wide-range output capability with programmable sequence control, variable internal resistance, remote sensing, output timing functions, and digital interfaces for both standalone laboratory use and automated test systems.

Precise Programmable Output

Maximum settings are 84 V and 63 A. Voltage setting accuracy is ±(0.05% of setting + 0.05% of rating), while current setting accuracy is ±(0.5% of setting + 0.1% of rating).

Low Ripple and Stable Regulation

The PWR1201ML specifies 5 mVrms / 50 mVp-p CV ripple noise, ±10 mV line regulation, ±10 mV load regulation, and 120 mArms current ripple noise.

Built-In Sequence Function

Stores one sequence program with up to 64 steps. Step times can be programmed from 0.1 seconds to 100 hours, with repetition, interval loops, ramp transitions, and triggered synchronization.

Variable Internal Resistance

In CV mode, programmable internal resistance from 0.001 Ω to 1.333 Ω allows the output behavior to be adjusted for applications requiring a defined source resistance characteristic.

VMCB Multi-Channel Control

The Virtual Multi-Channel Bus function allows a PC to control a group of PWR-01 supplies through a single master connection, simplifying network-based multi-channel systems.

Remote Sensing and Output Control

Remote sensing compensates for voltage drop in load wiring, with up to 4 V compensation per sensing line on the PWR1201ML. Output delay and soft start/stop functions provide additional control over power application and removal.

Maximum voltage and current settings cannot be used simultaneously beyond the 1200 W output power limit. Specifications are defined at the rear-panel output terminals unless otherwise stated.

Sequence, VMCB, and Automated System Control

The PWR1201ML combines onboard sequence execution with synchronized operation and VMCB multi-channel control for automated DC power systems.

A sequence program can contain up to 64 steps with step times from 0.1 seconds to 100 hours. Programs are created through a communication interface and can then be executed from either the front panel or remote control.
