Electrical Calibration for Anderon and Waviness Analyzers

The Sugawara ADC-101 Anderon Calibrator is designed to calibrate analyzers used in Sugawara Anderon Meter and Waviness Meter bearing inspection systems by generating precise electrical reference signals.

Unlike the ADC-105 / VVU-105 system, which generates actual mechanical vibration for simultaneous sensor and analyzer calibration, the ADC-101 directly outputs rotation and vibration-equivalent electrical signals to the analyzer. This makes it suitable for fast verification of analyzer measurement performance.
100–9,999 r/minProgrammable rotation-speed reference setting
0–20 kHzWide reference oscillation-frequency range
2 Calibration ModesADC/SWC and OSC/ATT modes replace multiple legacy calibration instruments
PLAYER ModeReplays recorded bearing vibration data as electrical reference signals
ADC-101 consolidates the functions of previous Sugawara calibrators, signal generators, and attenuators into a single instrument. It can calibrate current and legacy voltage-input bearing inspection analyzers with 30 Ω input impedance.

Analyzer Calibration

Generates electrical reference signals corresponding to configured Anderon and waviness values for direct analyzer verification.

One Instrument for Multiple Analyzer Families

Supports Sugawara Anderon, Synchro Wave, Race Wavimeter, and Ball Wavimeter analyzer families.

ADC/SWC Mode

Replaces the calibration functions of previous ADC-10 and SWC-10 instruments.

OSC/ATT Mode

Replaces legacy signal-generator and attenuator combinations used for bearing inspection analyzer calibration.

0–20 kHz Signal Generation

Wide oscillation-frequency coverage supports calibration across Anderon and waviness measurement ranges.

PLAYER Mode

Converts vibration data stored by ADA-105 or SWA-105 into electrical reference signals for reproduction on another analyzer.

Multiple Measurement Units

Supports Anderon, velocity, acceleration, displacement, waviness, and angular waviness units.

7-Inch Touchscreen

Calibration values, operating modes, and output conditions are configured through an integrated color LCD touchscreen.
