The ASTRODESIGN VG-887 provides a compact platform for generating HDMI 2.1 test signals in development, quality assurance, and production environments.

The VG-887 supports both Fixed Rate Link (FRL) and TMDS transmission modes and can generate HDMI video signals at data rates up to 48 Gbps in FRL mode. It supports uncompressed 8K/60p YCbCr 4:2:0 and 4K/120p YCbCr 4:4:4 output at up to 12-bit color depth.

HDMI 2.1 FRL & TMDS Generation

Generate HDMI signals using FRL at up to 12 Gbps per lane across four lanes, or TMDS at up to 18 Gbps.

8K/60p & 4K/120p Output

Supports uncompressed 8K/60p YCbCr 4:2:0 and 4K/120p YCbCr 4:4:4 transmission with up to 12-bit color depth.

DSC 1.2 Support

Supports Display Stream Compression for evaluating HDMI 2.1 devices and high-resolution video workflows.

Link & Device Status Checking

Check FRL Link Training, SCDC, and EDID status from the VG-887 operating interface during HDMI evaluation.

HDCP Testing

Supports testing of HDCP 2.3 and HDCP 1.4 for HDMI source and display development workflows.
