The ASTRODESIGN VA-1842 combines HDMI 2.0 signal analysis, monitoring, signal generation, EDID emulation, and compliance-oriented testing in a portable development platform.

The VA-1842 accepts HDMI signals with pixel clocks from 25 to 600 MHz and data rates up to 6 Gbps. It can analyze video timing, audio timing, InfoFrame and packet information, HDCP status, SCDC registers, DDC/CEC communication, and video data.
