The ASTRODESIGN VA-1849-C is an HDMI 2.1 source tester designed for automated testing, measurement, and analysis of HDMI source devices.

The unit supports HDMI 2.1 FRL signaling up to 12 Gbps per lane across four lanes as well as conventional TMDS signaling. It can evaluate high-resolution HDMI signals including 8K/60p and 4K/120p during development, quality control, and production-line inspection.

By controlling the VA-1849-C from a PC through commands, engineers can configure test conditions, measure video and audio timing, analyze protocol information, verify FRL link training, and automate inspection workflows.
