Flexible Video Generator & Analyzer Platform

The ASTRODESIGN LS-8500 is a configurable test and measurement platform that combines video signal generation and analysis functions for high-speed digital video interface development and validation.

The LS-8500 platform supports interface configurations for MIPI, HDMI, and DisplayPort, allowing engineers to build a measurement environment around the interface and validation workflow required for cameras, ECUs, displays, and other video devices.

For automotive and camera applications, the MIPI configuration supports MIPI D-PHY / CSI-2 workflows and can be used for signal generation, protocol analysis, long-duration logging, transmission-error investigation, and abnormal-condition evaluation. ASTRODESIGN also demonstrates connection workflows for GMSL, GVIF, and MIPI A-PHY using compatible interface adapters.

HDMI and DisplayPort configurations extend the same platform concept to display-interface testing. ASTRODESIGN's current LS-8500 series announcement includes HDMI with HDCP 1.4 / 2.3 support and DisplayPort 2.1 configurations.

Touch-Panel Operation

Provides direct touch-panel operation and also supports USB mouse control for laboratory and bench-top use.

The LS-8500 main unit provides two slots for compatible optional interface boards, supporting configurable test setups.
