Multi-Channel Solar Cell Evaluation for Long-Term Exposure Testing
The ADCMT SS9610 evaluates photovoltaic conversion efficiency and degradation characteristics over extended periods by automatically measuring and logging the I-V characteristics of multiple solar cells.
The system records key solar cell parameters including short-circuit current, open-circuit voltage, maximum-power current and voltage, fill factor, conversion efficiency, series resistance, and parallel resistance. Environmental measurements such as solar radiation, temperature, humidity, and wind speed can also be incorporated into the evaluation.
A configurable ADCMT source monitor performs 0 V-crossing I-V sweeps, while the scanner connects multiple cells to the measurement system. The standard configuration supports 10 channels and can be expanded to 50 channels with scanner cards. Systems requiring more than 50 channels can be customized by adding scanners.
Measurement timing, suspended periods, channel-switching intervals, and the number of measurements can be scheduled through the system software. Logged data is automatically stored in daily or monthly CSV files for stable long-duration testing.
