Modular IR Meter for Multi-Channel Insulation and Leakage Testing
The ADCMT 4000 / 4005X Series is a modular insulation-resistance and microcurrent measurement system designed for high-speed, multi-channel component inspection, production testing, and materials evaluation.
The compact 2U half-size 4000 mainframe provides two module slots and supports up to four measurement channels when configured with dual-channel 4005X IR meter modules. USB, GPIB, LAN, RS-232, handler, and digital I/O interfaces simplify integration into automated production systems.

High-speed current measurement by integration method
The 40051 and 40053 provide one measurement channel, while the 40052 and 40054 provide two channels. Voltage-source options include ±200 V or +300 V / −100 V depending on the selected module.
For higher-voltage applications, the current 40057 one-channel module extends the source capability up to +2000 V. A built-in capacitance-based contact check helps verify connection to high-resistance samples before measurement.
Modular Multi-Channel Architecture
Install up to two measurement modules in the compact 4000 mainframe and configure as many as four measurement channels using dual-channel IR meter modules.

Measure ultra-low leakage current through milliamp-level device current, supporting insulation, capacitor, semiconductor, and component inspection.
Ultra-High Resistance Measurement
Calculate resistance over a range extending from hundreds of ohms to as high as 3 × 1017 Ω depending on the installed module.
High-Speed Integration Measurement
Integration-based measurement supports high-speed current testing, including approximately 1.5 ms-class measurement operation.
Capacitance-Based Contact Check
Verify sample contact from 0.1 pF to 100 pF before or during measurement to reduce false test results caused by poor fixture contact.
Multiple Voltage-Source Options
Select modules supporting ±200 V, +300 V / −100 V, or high-voltage operation up to +2000 V according to the test requirement.
Production-Line Handler Interface
INDEX, EOM, HI, GO, LO, and NC signals support synchronization with automatic handlers and production inspection equipment.
