Compact Solar Simulator

This low-priced, high-performance compact solar simulator achieves Class A for all categories of “irradiation unevenness (80 mm2 area)”, “spectral match”, and “time variation” prescribed by IEC 60904-9. Because the design allows for transport, installation, and lamp replacement that do not require performance adjustments by an engineer, introduction costs and running costs are low. This is the perfect model for persons who want to perform simplified evaluations of solar cells using a high-performance light source but are unable to install a large and expensive solar simulator!
  • High uniformity! IEC 60904-9 Class A (±2%) for 80 mm square uniformity. IEC 60904-9 Class B (±5%) for 100 mm square uniformity. IEC 60904-9 Class C (±10%) for 156 mm square uniformity.
  • Spectral match that is highly similar to natural sunlight! IEC 60904-9 Class A(±25%) for Spectral match
  • Temporal instability of irradiance IEC 60904-9 Class A (±2%) for Long Term Instability
  • Achieves the irradiance (1kW/㎡) and brightness (100,000Lx)
  • Can irradiate with highly directional light! Consult with us if you require light with a high degree of parallelism.
  • Can be set up without an engineer! No transport or installation costs are required. Maintenance-free!
  • Compact size makes it easily portable! (Light source unit: Approx. 11 kg) External dimensions: W490 × D220 × H220 mm
  • Multiple filter type options are available! Users can select a type of filter with different wavelength ranges according to the purpose of the test.

■Precautions for use

Be sure to read the instruction manual prior to use. Specifications may be changed without notice for the purpose of improvements.

■Filter options

Users can select a type of filter with different wavelength ranges according to the purpose of the test.

Filter A

High similarity to natural sunlight in the visible light (370 – 780 nm) range

Filter B

High similarity to natural sunlight in the ultraviolet to visible light (300 – 780 nm) range

Filter L

Simulates the wavelength range from 300-1200nm, accurately reproducing the outdoor environment.
