XER-W85 Xenon Weathering Tester for Accelerated Durability Evaluation

The IWASAKI XER-W85 EYE Super Xenon Tester provides high-intensity xenon arc exposure for controlled accelerated weathering and material durability testing.

The system uses a water-cooled 7.5 kW xenon arc lamp to expose test specimens to controlled irradiation conditions. Automatic irradiance control supports a range of 60 to 180 W/m² over the 300–400 nm measurement wavelength range, including high-intensity xenon weathering tests at 180 W/m².

Irradiation, irradiation with water spray, and dark cycles can be combined to reproduce controlled accelerated weathering conditions. Temperature and humidity are also controlled within the system to support repeatable environmental exposure testing.

The renewed XER-W85 reduces equipment footprint and power consumption compared with the previous model while introducing updated touch-panel software for improved visibility, operation, maintenance notification, and test-sequence monitoring.
